I did a google search of 1940 Chevrolet Pickups and I saw a certain article you did on a turquoise truck. My grandfather built that truck back in the 80s and early 90s. We have a ton of old pictures of it, and pictures of me with it. I was given the truck in 2001, as my turning 16 present from my grandparents. I unfortunately sold it, and bought a mustang. I have regretted it everyday since. I saw it one other time at a car show in North Richland Hills, TX area a week after selling it. I had not seen it since. I was shocked to see the only two things that had changed since then, appear to be a steering wheel and exhaust tail pipe change. It still has the heartbeat sticker on the back window, and the North Texas Street Rod Association sticker on the front. My grandparents were a part of that club. Is there anyway of finding out who owns it now? We would love to show them pictures and check in on it. I noticed the pictures were taken in Bastrop, TX which is about four hours south of us. Any info would be awesome! Thank you for taking these pictures and letting me know my old truck is still alive and well.
